The Loving Leash: Customized Care for your Pet Companion
Hi, I'm Brighid,
I began my career with animals as a Vet Tech in California. It was there where I was trained and dealt with all facets of a high paced animal hospital. There I was trained in standard, surgical and emergency care. Moving to NY I transitioned to pet care and volunteer work.
My love and passion for animals has led me into this next chapter in my life. I will care for your pets the way I care for my own pets. Your animal will never even realize that you are away. The stability of being in their own environment and maintaining daily routines will help to minimize stress and maximize comfort.
My company differs from other animal care companies in that I do not just walk and feed your pets; I plan adventures and outings that your pets will enjoy. Depending on the pet, we go for walks, runs, to the park,or the beach. And if you have kitties, I will also document their play time. I then document these outings and update you while you are away so that you can rest easy, knowing your pet is receiving the best possible care while you are away.
As an animal mother, former Vet technician, and rescue volunteer I can only want what is best for your pet as if it were my own.
Service & Rates
Dog Walking (Bay Shore Area)
$25 for a 20 minute walk and clean up.
Pet Sitting (Bay Shore Area)
$50 for 2-3 visits each day you are away.
Out of Area Costs

Ours is a household with 2 people who work around the clock and travel too much, but we love our pooch like crazy and need to ensure he is well taken care of. Brighid comes to our house daily to spend time with our dog Jackson, but not just for a quick bathroom break. She walks him, plays with him and even sends us pictures so that we can see what he's up to. There is nothing like having a bad day at work and receiving a picture of our dog having a great time at home with Brighid. Jackson has developed such a strong relationship with Brighid. You can tell that she is one of his favorite people.
It brings us such peace to know that we have someone like Brighid to turn to when we need help with Jackson. She's also able to provide enhanced services when we both are out of town.
